What is Protection System? (Run SpyHunter's malware scanner to check for Protection System)

Protection System, from the same family as CoreGuard 2009, is a bogus anti-spyware program. Protection System attempts to mislead you by reporting non-existent infections on your computer in order to sell their product. These exaggerated and non-existent infections are reported by fake scanners, pop-up ads and false alert messages. Protection System is particularly dangerous as it also automatically uninstalls the following programs in order to protect itself from detection by security programs:

Norton Internet Security

The warning alerts may state that your computer is under attack from a remote PC or warn you that Internet Explorer has been infected with a rootkit. Protection System is a serious threat and should be removed without hesitation.
