What is WiniShield? (Run SpyHunter's malware scanner to check for WiniShield)

WiniShield is a rogue anti-spyware application that implements deceptive online marketing practices to sell their product. Scans with false results will inform you that your PC is infected with non existent infections. WiniShield will also display fake security alerts from your Windows taskbar. In addition a fake Windows Security Center window will claim that your PC security is compromised and needs the WiniShield product; this is done to give the impression that Microsoft is recommending the purchase of WiniShield. The fraudulent tactics used are very clever and deceiving. If you believe that you are infected with WiniShield, remove it without hesitation.
